How do I use Token Pocket to Store Nervos CKB and Lock my Funds in the Nervos Dao?
There is a Wocket in my Pocket!
Token Pocket has a nice ring to it and it supports Nervos CKB. Let’s walk through setting it up by downloading to our mobile phone.
Once downloaded, tap Token Pocket and No Wallet | Create Wallet.
Next, tap Ethereum and Create Wallet.
Enter Name | Password and tap Create Wallet.
Now it is time to back up your mnemonic phrase. Tap I get it.
For the purposes of this post, I will expose phrase. NEVER DO THIS WITH REAL FUNDS! Ha Ha, I had to secure it. :)
Tap Completed Backup, Verify it.
Tap Confirm after you type in the mnemonic phrase. You have now successfully created the Ethereum wallet on Token Pocket!
Next, let’s access the Portal Wallet dApp to get a CKB address. Begin by tapping DApp.
Type ckb.pw in the DApp browser.
Next, tap goto ckb.pw.
NOTE: A message appears that you are about to enter a 3rd Party DApp.
Tap I get it and Portal Wallet appears with your CKB address.
Now, let’s send some money to it and show you how to lock in the DAO. I will purchase CKB directly from Crypto.com. If you want to learn how to purchase CKB directly with Crypto.com, see post below:
Let’s now withdraw the CKB to our new wallet. You can see the funds now in Token Pocket.
Next, Tap DAO and choose the amount you want to lock for 2.87% and click Deposit. You have now successfully configured Token Pocket and locked funds in the DAO.
