How do I use the Math App Wallet to Store Nervos CKB?
Portal Wallet and Math App
Let’s continue our wallet documentation by showing you today how to use the Math Wallet to store Nervos CKB. First we will download MathWallet5 from the iOS or Android App Store.
After downloading and installing MathWallet5, tap Ethereum to create your Ethereum wallet.
Tap Create a Wallet.
Type a Wallet Name and Wallet Password and tap Create Wallet.
Next, write down your Mnemonic Phrase. Do not share this with anyone. For the purposes of this post, I will reveal the seed phrase.
Tap Backup Made! and Confirm Mnemonic Phrase below.
You have now setup your Math Wallet.
Let’s now access the Portal Wallet DApp on the Math Wallet for our mobile phone by opening the following website:
Select the dApp QR code as shown below:
On your mobile phone, make sure you have the Math Wallet open and scan the QR code by selecting … | Scan QR code.
It will open a browser where you can type ckb.pw.
You can now access your CKB address on your mobile phone to send and receive CKB as well as lock in the Nervos DAO.
How do I add MathWallet5 Browser Extension?
Let’s begin by adding the Mathwallet5 extension to your browser.
After you install the extension, it will appear on the toolbar.
Select the Math Wallet extension and create a password.
Once done, click Create. Let’s now import the wallet we just created.
Click Switch Network and select Ethereum.
Click the + to import your existing wallet.
Select import by mnemonic.
Enter your seed phrase as shown below.
Click Next and enter your wallet name.
Click Confirm. You can now see your desktop based Math wallet.
Type ckb.pw to access the Portal Wallet DApp to send and receive CKB or lock in the Nervos DAO.
Congratulations, you have now setup both your Math wallet on mobile and desktop.
