How Do I Secure my Nervos CKB with Trezor and MetaMask?
The Trezor supports Nervos CKB!
I love playing with Hardware Wallets. I was playing around with the Trezor and I finally figured out how to use it to store Nervos CKB. Simply connect your Trezor to MetaMask and then once connected, access the Portal Wallet DApp.
My first step was of course to customize my Trezor to my liking as shown below:
Let’s now walk through the connection to MetaMask. Open your browser where you have MetaMask installed. Connect your Trezor to your computer.
Note: Make sure you have the MetaMask extension installed and you are using a supported browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
Select Connect Hardware Wallet.
Next, select Trezor as the hardware wallet.
Click Continue.
Click Allow Once for this Session and Export Public Key.
Select the Ethereum Account you want to use with MetaMask and click Unlock.
The Trezor account appears in a tab in your browser.
You are now connected to your Ethereum Account in MetaMask. Open a new tab and type the following:
ckb.pw
MetaMask will detect that you are opening the Portal Wallet DApp and ask you which account you want to connect. Choose the Trezor Account
Click Next and Connect.
Congratulations, you are now connected to your Trezor’s Ethereum Wallet and Portal Wallet DApp.
You can now secure your CKB on the Trezor Hardware Wallet.
