How Do I Configure my Opera Wallet and Import into MetaMask?
I am a big fan of the Opera browser. It has a lot of features I really like. Did you know that the Portal Wallet dApp is supported with Opera? Let's walk through through following:
Setup Crypto on Opera Browser and Opera Mobile App
Setup Portal Wallet (PW)
Import Wallet into MetaMask
Download and install Opera on your mobile device. After you download Opera to your mobile phone, open and click Settings | Activate.
Next, click Open | Wallet.
Open a new tab in Mobile Opera and type ckb.pw.
Click Allow to provide access.
Let's now send a small amount of CKB to the wallet.
Let's now import this into MetaMask by taking the seed phrase. You can access the seed phrase by navigating to Settings on your Opera mobile | Backup Phrase.
Next, open MetaMask (any browser or mobile app) and choose the following:
Enter the applicable information as shown below:
Click Import and you have brought your Opera Wallet into MetaMask.
Now when you access MetaMask and type ckb.pw, you are able to leverage the same Opera address on MetaMask.
Synchronizing Desktop and Mobile Opera Crypto Wallet
Now that you have an Opera Crypto Wallet setup, you can sync the wallet to the Desktop version of Opera. Let's begin by going to Settings from the sidebar.
Enable Crypto Wallet with the slider.
Open Opera on your mobile device and tap Settings | Crypto Wallet | Connect a Computer.
Select Crypto Wallet from the sidebar and reveal your QR code.
Click Scan from your mobile device and scan the revealed QR code on your computer.
The wallet now appears within your Opera Desktop browser and is synchronized to your Mobile version of Opera.
